History
Sam Kokos and Son Tom founded Kokos Coffee in 1991 in Cicero, Illinois. Sam grew up in the food manufacturing business that his father founded in 1937, Tom Tom Tamale. Sam later became a restaurateur in the Chicagoland Area.

Following in his Father’s footsteps, Tom had the desire to be in business. In 1990 Sam saw the future of coffee and decided that this would be the future business of the Kokos Family. In 1991 Kokos Coffee opened the doors to its Full Service Wholesale Coffee Distribution Company.

In August 2002 Sam passed away. Tom is diligently carrying on everything his father hoped for Kokos Coffee.

Kokos Coffee & Products, Inc. will become the leading Restaurant, Office Coffee and Convenient Store Full Service Coffee Distribution Company in the Chicago Metropolitan Area.
